That's it for my pictures. To the old friends and the new I had a great time. Thanks again for taking the time and traveling the miles to make this the fun it was.
Wish I'd not needed to cut out earlier Saturday then most everyone else. But it worked out well. Got about 750 in before meeting some weather and parking it for the night. Had been a good day before then too. Left me with a short day today that was cool or even chilly but nice. Had the Gerbings in the trailer and used them for a couple of hours. The right gear makes darn near any day a nice ride. Today was no exception.
Pretty sure I was only really worried about one new particpant member to the CVO family this weekend. Good Howie's Mrs. is scary. In one half hour stretch Friday night she insulted fox, eagles, Harley's motorclothes, picked on drunk people, threatened anyone who looked at her chocolate chip cookie and threatened invasion by the British. I actually thought she was just inviting them to the next rally and said "good for them!" But now I'm not so sure...
Ok, all kidding aside. We all know that as a group we can sometimes be a bit... well.... daunting. Newbies sometimes mistakenly think they need to watch from the outside a bit before diving in. Suppose that's even more so for the distaff side. But everyone there who hadn't played with this group before fell in like old friends. That was wonderful. Good Howied and Raquel were just excellent examples of what we all hope new friends and riding buddies will always be.
Once again, thanks everyone. I had a great time. Was wonderful seeing all of you seem to as well. Sedona soon, Ken and Cheri's BBQ after that, some of you in Georgia after that, Hot Springs again, MV08 or wherever; enjoy your summer and the times and miles we'll share
