I looked at that while at the V-Twin dealer show.

For me I thought it should have had more adjustment.

For some it may have enough adjustment to make the difference between being comfortable and not.

My thought exactly!  Better to spend 20% of that on a simple bracket to permanently move the T-P back.  Once it's moved back, the vast majority would be unlikely to ever slide it forward to the stock position again.  Many folks on this site are using a bracket made by George Anderson:

Yup, I have one of those and my better half loves it. Guy I ride with just installed his this weekend. His wife didn't want it but he was tired of the camera hitting him in the head!  ;) George is great!

Kuryakyn as an extended bar for the detach rack, does not move but allows for the extra space and is a lot cheaper!

I would like to move the tour pack back an inch or two, but my local dealer told me that the amp mounted under the tour pack has cables that do not have enough slack to allow any movement.  I thought the amp was mounted under the tour pack, but not to the tour pack.  Does anyone know for sure?  Thanks

Bob,

I have an 07 SEUC and my amp is mounted to the tour pack mounting bracket, NOT the tour pack it's self.  Also the tour packs have two set of hole pre-drilled from the factory.  Mine was set-up from the dealer in the forward position and I was able to move min back about 1 1/2" without buying any additional hardware.

Bob,
Good looking ride.  :2vrolijk_21:  If you get George's relo kit, it doesn't affect the amp whatsoever.  The amp is not attached to the tour pak.  Give George a call...he's a great guy:

My tour pak was also mounted in the shipping position (forward).  I had the dealer move it back to the normal position and the wife is happy with the difference.
