Looks good, TN... always had good success with Helmets R Us.

The store personnel in Daytona have been very helpful also.  Plus you can try helmets on to see how they fit.

received my two new helmets. the dot version is well made but i still feel like i'm a cannon acrobat. the acc is well made too, it also has the quick connect clip that i like. i imagine that has its downfall also but i like it. anyone have some spare dot labels?

i wore my full face shoei (rf-700 i think) for the first time in a long time today because of the rain.

my helmet collection is compiling.

i would reccomend either company for good business practices. :2vrolijk_21:

That's why I use their non-DOT version. Same exact impact protection, but the extra foam inside allows them to pass the 5 lb spear test! Don't expect to be getting speared (ya never know in NYC though I guess)! ;D But the non-DOT is pretty damn close to novelty looks, while providing the protection of a DOT shorty helmet. Too bad the cops don't see it that way. So make sure you order some DOT stickers too! ::) ;D ;)

If you don't decorate your scooter with all those chrome 'pointy' things, you won't need the spear protection.  But a DOT sticker won't be enough in NC now as some LE personnel are asking to read the certification info inside the helmet.  :( aaaaargh.  spyder

Just bought a new 1/2 DOT Scorpion EXO-100 on sale at a local Yamaha / Honda Dealer. It has an incorporated retractable face shield, first one I've seen on a 1/2 helmet, just push a button and the tinted face shield drops down, push it again and it retracts in to the helmet. COOL! :2vrolijk_21:
Well worth looking at for less than $100.00.

I am needing/wanting a new full face since my current one fogs like a beyatch in the rain.  Going to get the Scorpion Exo 400 or 700.

The make a pretty nice helmet for the price.

That's a neat 1/2 helmet!

Patty and I have all three styles of helmets, The 1/2 we wear around town and we switch to a 3/4 by Arai with the JM built in speakers and mic when on the road. When it is really nasty we go to the full face again by Arai with the same JM set up.   I consider Arai to be a great all around  helmet, with good cooling vents for the long haul..

Do you have the JM sets installed in all 4 or do you swap them out to change helmets.
