3/8-1/4 inch reducing bushing to install oil temp gauge
« on: April 28, 2008, 04:15:49 PM »

Tried Lowes, Home Depot and at least one local hardware store.  Any ideas.  Problem may be I sent my wife as I've been busy in the office.

Avoid brass if you can and go for bronze, better product.

Hmm, will try again.  I'll be in Everett Thursday and Friday and I'll try a couple of marine stores.  Big Dog, if I can't find one by next week I'll PM you.  Thanks all!!

The size you are looking for is 3/8" NPT to 1/8" NPT.

My lovely wife tracked one down today at a plumbing supply store.  And to think I've been bugging her to go back to work (she's an R.N.) so perhaps we (both of us) can retire someday.  Much more valuable chasing parts.
