Harley picked up my 2007 flhtcuse today, 18000 miles.  Officially a NEVADA LEMON LAW BUYBACK.  Per the agreement I cannot go into detail, but you all already know most of the story with the 110.  I posted a reply a while back for anybody who wants to find it and read part of the story,  there was more.  I tried to deal with the dealer and the company but they didn't seem to give a s--t.  So 1-888-4LEMONS, the attorneys I used and would highly recommend.  We are not R&D for harley and deserve a quality product and service, especially for the overpriced screaming eagle.  Good luck to all that think this is a head gasket!!!!

Sorry to hear you had to go that route to get some satisfaction out of this ordeal.  It's obvious that it's not a gasket issue.  If it was just that, a different gasket material would have fixed it.  It appears to be a liner/cylinder issue and the MoCo is not owning up to that outright.  Hope you get what you want out of this.  Ride safe.

It really is a shame that you had to go that route. I know they are working on the problem. There is no real fix as of yet though.

I suppose the downside is they won't agree to getting it sorted until the first set of warranties expire so the call back is less, or does US law cover this eventuality.

I hope so.  I'm not eager to buy a warranty to fix a manufacturing defect.  That decision is fast approaching for most of us.  The model year began in August 2006.

This is why HD won't admit there's a problem right now. You need to sue or file a Lemon Law claim to get out of these bikes. If they admit a major problem now, without any fix for ir, they'll be having to refund anyone's money that wants out. Oh what a tangled web they weaved!

Saw this fairly early on. Like I said, it's not the first time with this type of issue for the MoCo. And I know EVENTUALLY they will have a fix and do right by everyone. But you're in hell until that day comes. You need to decide whether you want to play their silly game until they finally get this right. Or just bail, fix it right, and move on with your lives. Sucky situation to be in. But it is what it is!

I'm on my thrid motor and can't wait to turn this POS back, would love to build an 04 to the hilt and move on. It is a shame, i do love my bike (when it runs)

Man that really sucks.   What an all around loss for everyone.   HD is still working on all of this but they need to fess up and admit to a problem to save credibility.    Just turned 12K on my 07 se ultra.  no problems to date.

Clock is indeed ticking on the July 06 110's in regard to the 2 year warranty. If the MoCo admits it's cylinders/heads they have a HUGE recall potential, since the fixes, including the 07B gaskets have also failed.  Read somewhere here that Steve Phillips, VP of QA/Tech for HD would be riding an 08 SEULTRA with the "fixed" 110 this summer.  Maybe that "fix" is in a testing mode now? 

Too bad you had to go the lemon law route, chevyhd.  Huge hassle.
