I think any of us that are complaining about the motives behind the MOCO's production, need to hope that everything they do makes them stronger and more profitable. I for one do not buy my bike for investment purposes. I learned a long time ago that I can't leave my bikes stock and be happy. I therefore spent obscene amounts over a period of years making "my" special ride. We all know that when it comes time to sell or trade we get our hearts broken because we never get what we have in it. The same will be true of the CVO's
Now for profits. Want to be able to get anything out of your bike hope that the MOCO stays strong. I am sitting on a 2002 Indian Custom Deluxe. 10,700 mi, one of either 12 or 50 made, (depending on who you believe) and can not get what a comparable Heritage would bring. Why? people are afraid they can't get parts. The whole damn bike was an after market product. Pick up a Dennis Kirk or JP Cycle catalog and order any parts you want. Plus the bike is built better than a Heritage and is much much faster than even a 95" twin cam.
So if a limited product like this is hard to sell, imagine the prices on used Harley's if the MOCO couldn't support it's product due to lack of profit. Just a point of view from a business owner.
