Finally Picked up CUSE Annie.
« on: May 04, 2008, 02:24:05 PM »

After 8 months of waiting I finally picked up my Duracell. Flew down Tue. ,picked it up and spent 3 days riding in 28 to 45 Deg. rain, snow and sleet.( And loved ever minute of it) Took it pack to dealer for 1K service and REPLACE heated grips (they lasted about 1/2 Hr.) Love the bike, have already spent over $2K, now all I need is a taller W/S and somekind of stabilizer ( wobbles a LOT at 90+, My first E-Glide in 20 years maybe its normal, but scary) Have it home now with 1500 Miles (And no leak yet). Had only one small problem with a 45 Gal. drum falling of a truck coming at me at 75(The anti locks ARE great) LUCKY the drum was empty only took out the left lower and crash bar (nothing $800 and little laundry for the shorts won't fix)

OMG, you hit highway flotsom the size of a 55 gal drum at 75 mph on your brand new bike on the maiden voyage!!??  Congrats on the ride but what a shame to have the experiences you've had so far.  I guarantee you one thing, they will mostly be better than this week has been!

Charger congrats on the new scoot and clearly the spending has begun! Oh and-way to keep your wits about you with that drum! I did a Zig-Zag dance with one a couple years ago that was full-fortunately my Zig was to the drums Zag and I am with you on needing new shorts-there was no way to clean up that chit!
