What's with the relay? Does the horn come with a relay that you recommend replacing? Or do you need to supply your own relay anyway? What relay did you use? Thanks. :confused5:

My stock horn crapped out, and FTW, so I ordered one from Jenni. 109 bucks plus shipping. Not bad. Too bad I'm gonna lose my sculpted eagle horn cover though. :( ;)

Well chit; you're assuming I actually read the directions. I just looked them up for you :huepfenlol2: .

On my air horn's install I tucked the relay inside the battery box.  Between the battery and the side wall.  But I was making that harness as I went.  This beastie's is a prefabricated harness.  Just eyeball it when you get it all in hand.  If it looks like it might be a problem child and the relay provided is a cheapie go to Waytek and find the same thing in a sealed unit.

HeHe! Went to put the Mini Beast on. Took off the nut that holds the horn/cover. Both wires were broken off the spade connectors. Horn doesn't work very well with no wires connected. Put new spade connectors on and hooked up the old horn. Everything works fine. The Mini Beast will wait on the shelf now so I can keep my Sculpted Eagle Horn Cover. :2vrolijk_21:

Lesson learned (as if I didn't already know it, but don't take my own damn advice), check EVERYTHING first before you order new parts. Could always be something simple!!! ;)

I'd like to know if anyone has purchased or installed this horn recently and if you have any pictures to show.
I went on their website, but am not sure i like the looks of the new horn covers.....
I am picking up a new 2012 SESG in a couple weeks and want to do something with the horn....
