Yes they have!

My local dealer told me that he just received a recall bulletin dated 5/5/08 which pertains to oil leaks on 110 engines.  Details to follow!

What are you doing with your origional motor? Are you attempting to salvage it for a project or selling it? Just wondering..

I have every original 110 part for a complete enging except for cases. I think I'll try selling it as a complete package on EBay and see how that goes. It'll never be in my bike again. If I can't move it as a complete assembly, I guess I'll think about parting it out. I'll try and recover some of that $8500! ;)

OK guys, here's the scoop on the 110 recall!

Basically the bulletin says that if the motor still has an oil leak issue after two attempts to repair, the engine will be replaced at no charge to the customer.

THE NEW MOTOR IS NOT A 110!
