Good catch R/D!

Actually, it's okay if you turn the picture upside down, but then the floorboards are where the seat is and the seat would be....oh, never mind.... :nervous:

porthole ( duane) put some "custom" extenders on his floorboards from :  http://www.mcmaster.com/
you can have right extend out alittle further than left to accomadate A/C cover. john

Good Idea, but I know I can't afford to lose anymore lean angle.

Outstanding!!  How are they for road clearance on turns?  Do they scrape easier or still about the same?  I did a lot of scraping on the Dragon yesterday.  :P

Also, don't know if it's me or what, but is the FLHX ring on your A/C cover upside down?   ???

Have not had any scrapes yet, I think the support arms would strike first, dont lay these over as far as the other bikes because of the jiggle in the wiggle. I have installed a Missing Link and that seems a lot of that out so its going to be how low can you go  :huepfenlol2: I run a air ride rear supension you can see the pics in this post http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=21623.0 so it pretty low when Im riding.

Here is a pic of it on right side up, I cut the front out for a air scoope, I can flip it in a heavy rains or thick bugs for filter protection. You can see the blood on it, started quail season a little early last year  :huepfenjump3: a covey of blues came across the road while I was a little bit over the speed limit, made a duck out of me  :huepfenlol2: I went down behind the fairing, they were going over the top about 3 hit the fairing and one lucky bird came between the fork and crash bar and got the guillotine as it is now called. I pulled over and let that lovely smell cook of the engine while I cleaned his little head out of the breather and the rest of him off my leg and boot along with the s#$t out of my pants  me and him both kinda wished it would have been flipped that day  :huepfenlol2:
