like you said the pics arent great... and it could just be dirty but the finish on the motor didnt look right to me

The shadows and lighting were such that on very first glance I thought it had black jugs.  That listing has some very poor pictures hiding god knows what.

Steve, If the 110 rumors and the 09 SE RG rumors have any validity, there will be a flood of known SE bikes for sale here come July. I'd wait that couple of moths if it were me.

What she said

LD will be on the block if the 09 SERG is a reality AND, if it doesn't have a 110

(No offense to those of you who do)

Steve, have you narrowed down any search to the SEEG's?  Or was this just one that happened to be noticed?  I know of a green SEEG about a hundred miles from me that would be for sale if the Mrs gets her way.  The Mr. has something he likes as much so he'll come off the dime pretty easily if she prods a little.  I could help the process along if you're interested in a Jalapeno.

Well.......if I go CVO it will be used.  Stongly leaning towards 04 or 05 SEEG as it is already lowered.
If I end up new, it would not be a CVO, it would be 08 Ultra classic after the 09's come out.

My bike is an 02 with 37k on it.  I don't want to replace it with a bike that has a lot of miles on it.  Looking for less than 1/2 the miles I have now.

This green bike I know of is an 05 like mine.  Last time I saw it a couple months ago it had 7700-ish miles on it.  He'd changed pipes and air cleaner when it was new and put a Power Commander on it.  John Golden is a local very good tuner and is the guy that tuned the bike.  Am sure there are other small chrome bits he's added over time but it won't be anything consequential.

If you'd like the bike checked out more thoroughly I'll give them a call tomorrow and try to scope it out over the weekend.  Looking ahead if something did happen to work out I can retrieve it in the trailer and store it at the shop safe and secure for as long as you'd need.  Wouldn't be in the way at all.  Would even make sure it was freshly serviced and checked over before any ride home.

I'm really the wrong guy to ask Steve.  Have just paid no attention to the market on them.  When the 09s hit the street they'll be four model years old.  Even with low miles that has to make a dent.  Someone tell if this is way off but I'd guess 22-ish :nixweiss: ?

It is a bit more than I was looking for.
I missed out on that 04 b/b in CT a few weeks ago that went for 20K and only had 7500 miles on it.
That may still be an option after Laconia as he may not keep it.
The bike would be practically in my back yard.

I'll bug him on the phone and see what his price his.  Never hurts to ask.  Finding something close to home is always sweet though.  Just so much less hassle.  That's one of the things that was so great about the Road Glide a couple months ago.  Looked for years then found one an hour from the house.

Ok...but just don't push too hard yet.  Given choice in color and location I would go with the b/b around the corner unless the deal was just too sweet elsewhere.

Thanks

But Steve can do the ride from Joplin in two days no problem...I 'd go with him but am not sure I could do 1500 with him as the BSR (Truck fine, Bike well...) ...he would fall asleep faster than Anne!

I think I saw that bike going south on 95 2 days ago on my way home from work. A b/b was with a goldwing and 2 other bikes. Good luck in your adventure. Later,Q
