Dealer called me today and offered to let me have a 2008 SERK "Anny" they have on the floor . . . seems the customer backed out.

Makes you wonder if he's been reading about the 110 problems . . . .

Anyway, I declined. I'm holding out for the "Black and Silver".  New ship date is 7/7/08 . . . . I can hardly wait!!   

I have a question.  When the group took the tour at York back in April, I thougt they were told that the plant was basically done building '08s and was retooling for the new model year.  Why is brewnut still waiting another 3 weeks for a bike that surely must be built?  Are they possibly pushing back shippments due to dealer overstocks?

I feel for you brewnut.  It doesn't make sense to me.

Oh, and dood, I'm not being sarcastic this time, so if you know the answer please drop some wisdom on me.

Don't recall hearing anything about the production year being done.  The touring plant was furloughed for the day but the CVO plant and soft tail plants were humming.

The ONLY CVO's being made were the annies from all 4 models.  They were obligated to the numbers on these since they serialized.  My guess is, once the anny run is complete they can assemble the others that they have orders for.  That might make the non anny Dynas or Springers a short run bike (like the triple red RG's or blue FXR)
