We have encountered a problem with engine static noise on the CB radio of our ultra hs any body encountered this and if so whats the fix TIA

No jc, have never heard the engine static on your Ultra.  Have you tried louder exhaust?

what year ultra? might help to know what brand of radio is in it

1. Have you done anything (mod) in your tour pack? look under the liner and make sure the ground strap is still in place.
2. What version is your Radio software (see attached) file for finding that out.

Another thought check your cb sq level it may be set too low or if your two up try one head set connection at a time.
