My thought would be that the leverage put on the bolt is quite large and purely for the sake of safety you would be better off. The price of a grade * bolt compared to a grade 5 can not be that much . Let me know what size , thread and length and I will see if we stock them , if so I will sell them cost plus 10% and freight.
Thanks for the offer but I have a supply of grade 3, 5 and 8 bolts that I can use for my floorboards.
I chose the stainless over the grade 8 to prevent rust and potential bolts seizing in the threaded holes in the floorboard.
Even though the stainless bolts, 3" long x 1/2" are softer, there is no way I am going to bend the bolt even if I stand on the floorboards. (I have already tried it)

Make sure you put anti seeze of NICKLE grade or you could see seizing problems. :2vrolijk_21:
