I usually do, but I'm kinda used to doin a half arsed wave barely off the left grip. I just realized nobody can see it w/ my big ol fairing in the way though. All my other bikes were naked in the front..    Speaking of that,.... Does anyone WOW?

It is  nice to wave. Shows people have something in common. However, riding on I-81 haven't seen much wave returning.  Oh, well.

I stand up on the pegs and fart boisterously and with a welcoming report.

I am not riding behind your bike anymore, unless you are using that as your
new louder than ever air horn.

O. M. G. Will SOMEONE please buy Dood those hinges and an experienced
installer put them on for him. He won't mind if it is free and we all know
how good they look. Just getter done.

Oh yea, I wave to everyone on a bike, except at a large rally.

C'mon dawg, don't tell me you started out at 16 with a big bad hog?  I'll bet the majority of us older folk started out on scooters, mopeds, 50cc ring dings, etc.  I acknowledge every person I see on two wheels (even motor cops).  Maybe everyone can't afford to start out on a full size motorcycle, but the fact they are on two wheels instead of four tells me they are my kind of people.  And the odds are they will eventually move up to a "real" bike.  Embrace them and encourage them.

Grc thank you for your comment and I get what your saying people have to start somewhere as did I. My first motorized bike was my dirt bike 78 RM125 that I got when I was 13, I never tried to wave obviously because it was a dirt bike and I was rarely on city streets. The following year I got a moped that did 38mph and I never even considered waving to a biker because I knew I was not one "yet" and didn't earn/deserve to wave. Finally when I was 20 and bought my first HD 86 1100 Sporty I started waving because I owned a "motorcycle" not a bicycle, moped or scooter just because it has 2 wheels doesn't make it a motorcycle. Like I said before I don't care what brand you ride as long as it is a "motorcycle". Well that's my 2 cents on the subject and I always enjoy a little debate thanks for commenting.

Started 0na CB 350 back in 1973 and waved to everyone-I remember no return from the HD guys. Still waving after 36 years riding and now I wait for the other guy to waive first....regardless the bike :coolblue:

I'm getting tired of waving, but I still do it.  Every once in awhile I'll pass some dudes that think they're real 1%s and they are so cool that they would never wave.  I can spot them far enough off that I sit back as far as I can in the saddle, point my chin at them, and hold my nose high enough to the sky that even with a fairing I'm afraid I might catch a bug in my nostrils.  If my feet aren't on the highway pegs, they immediately go there.   :P

I'm thinking of getting a flat plastic hand with a spring that I can attach to my handlebars.  Everyone will think that I'm waving, and I can just enjoy the ride.   :2vrolijk_21:

OMG!  Saw that one coming far enough off that I was laughing before I finished reading the 2nd sentence!!  Thanks, Steve, I needed a good laugh!  Yea, I think I know the type!  I won't be able to get this out of my head and we got an annual event coming up at one of the local MC's.  They'll wonder why I have a smile plastered on my face as I watch them all ride up to the clubhouse!!

 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Oh yea and I typically wave.
