I usually wave if on a 2 lane, but don't on a divided highway.

There was a couple on a bagger up on the triangle between Globe and Superior that were both killed because he waved to some on coming bikes in a tight curve. He lost control and went over an embankment. I wave only when I am comfortable and not in a pay attention mode!!!
