It really doesn't surprise me. I bet if you start a poll of 110 owners on this site, you will find just about everyone of them has had engine issues. If they have not they don't ride it enough or it is new!

Let's not blame the factory floor workers for this one. It rests on the shoulders of the educated engineers and CEO's.

Yes indeed.  I surfed down through the various categories and model years, and the vast majority of the issues presented had absolutely nothing to do with the assembly of the motorcycles.  The folks bolting these things together appear to be doing a much better job than the folks sitting on their asses in the ivory tower.

Go ahead Milwaukee, find some more cheapo shortcuts and cheapo parts.  When you've finally ruined the brand and people stop buying your junk, we'll shed a tear for you.  Hopefully you guys have been saving a little of those fat bonuses, 'cause things may be much leaner in the near future.  BTW, ask the hotshots at the other moco (FoMoCo) how their flirtation with ultra cheap parts and processes worked out.  And while you're talking, see if you can get some of those experienced engineers the other moco dumped on the street during the never ending cutbacks.  Maybe the automotive guys can help your folks ease into the 21st century.
