Last one.  Getting ready to break camp this morning.
The Scooters and the Hobos left about 8:45 this morning.  Renea and I rode with them to Decatur.  We had a GREAT time during their visit, and can't wait to visit again.
Thanks so much for visiting us.  Steph, you make a rockin' awesome salad!  We're looking forward to seeing you all again, and will do our very best to break away from here for the June 28 shindig at Steph's place.  Safe travels!  We'll see you soon!

Have a great time guys.  You might even choose to stay longer.  Rained here yesterday.  Again.  Raining here today.  Pouring.  All morning.  Again.  If it's nice and dry down there just stay and enjoy it.  But most importantly, have fun guys :2vrolijk_21: .

Certainly wish they could have stayed longer, however work usually finds a way to keep interupting our personal lives.  Further, it is my understanding that Scooter's pooches were sprayed by a skunk.............and allowed in the house by Scooter's children...........post attack!  YUCK!  They're concerned, and rightfully so.
We got a little sprinkling on the way to Decatur.  Forcast indicates rain, but it was pretty nice around here for the most part.  They should be around Memphis by now.

It was an awesome GTG, Howie, as most are.
As for the Corbin.........yeah, I'm happy with it, even after only 1000 miles, but the one thing that does tick me off is Corbin's failure to put the ostrich panel in the seat.  I've spoken with them about it, and their willing to correct their oversite, but it will take time............and since it is now peak riding season, I'm not willing to part with the seat for 6 weeks.  So, they've agreed to replace the cover with the correct cover around November.  Until then, I'm just gonna ride the hell out of it.  It is getting more comfortable every ride.  Really like it.  Just ordered a Hollywood Solo for the Sportster.

Yessir.  That's what it's all about.  Gives us something to look forward to in the meantime.  Incidently, I don't know how we did it, but last night, we actually got both SERGs, trailers, my SEUC, and the Sportster in the garage........along with all of my crap.  It was tight quarters, but everything was inside for the evening.  No booboos either!  Pretty good!

done one of those up and down things  :nervous:

gravity accelerator sound interesting

A part of me wanted to get off pre-launch, but I'm glad I gutted it out.  It was fun............and one hell of an awesome rush.  Still think Thumper could beat it tho'.   ;D

The gravity accelerator was similar to that "Meteor" ride we used to ride at the county fair when we were kids.  You lean against a panel, put on a seat belt, the room spins to about 4Gs, and your panel slides up.  When we were kids, we used to turn upside down and we'd stick to the wall.  Scooter, Cary and I were just a bit dizzy, but kids were running off that thing, unaffected, to get back in line.  I used to do the same thing when I was a kid, but that was a LONG, LONG time ago.  UGH!
