Figured it'd be nice to have a thread just for Senator McCain.

If it descends into Limbaugh/Coulter territory, I'm gone

I don't know who Suggested that Mccain would pick him (Loonburg) as a running mate- He is more liberal than obama, he (loonburg) is first to blame america first, NO to any Gun rights So I doubt that he will even be in the running.

Maybe the left's wishful thinking -:)

Mccain won't pick a running mate untill the covention, that way the left won't be able to load up a bunch of scare false info on the team - it will cut doen on there time to prepare.

i generally steer clear of politics here unless were talking Boston v. NY sports, but you caught me in a weak moment tonight.

i havent foolowed much on McCain latley as the news has been focused on the Obama/Clinton UFC fight. i would think hes got 2 short lists of people 1 list based on facing Obama and another list based on facing Clinton

McCain made what I think was a mistake earlier in stateing he new little about economics...The Dem's will pound this home come general election. My gut tells me with McCain's claim to Defense and Foreign policy experience; he will need backup in the economic area and Mitt Romney could be the choice if McCain isn't afraid of Romney's Mormon religion being a factor...not sure myself; just a thought :-\

Hey VAZHOG
I'm not making this chit up. It was front page on the net when I logged on this morning. History would show that at this time in the election cycle, the candidates tend to "leak" names to the press to guage the reaction. Somebody in the McCain organization evidently wanted to float this one out there.
FYI, I agree with your post but McCain's been known to shoot himself in the foot a time or two. YOU can plan all you want, but things will happen the way they will happen.

B B

Wasn't implying that you were, BUT since you read it on the internet it must be true  :2vrolijk_21: ;D

That's why you hire folks that KNOW about that, Can you say cabinet appoiment?

Remember Alan Greensburg a lot of president relied on him and they knew even less about Econmics than either Hilary or Osama

Knot much hammer left in the economics nail.

My problem with Romney isn't his religion, it's whether or not his flesh and blood and not a cyborg

Romney's a good fit. You've got President McCain and Romney the MacVeep

Could the guy look any more like Hollywood cast him as a politician ?

I mean really, what'd they do generate him with a computer or something

My problem with Romney isn't his religion, it's whether or not he's flesh and blood and not a cyborg

VAZHOG who has more conspiracy theories than Oliver Stone,  says the story is a left wing plant Sean.

I think it's just a loose cannon in the McCain camp, but VAZ thinks McCain's gonna run all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave without missing a step.

I think he'll get there, but for sure will have his share of bonehead moments. Both from him and his staff

B B

It was in the news last year - and he fessed up to it!  How is that a conspiracy...the VA legislature created a law to prevent him from doing it again!

B B

OH - doh, I was talking about Bloomberg setting up VA gun shop owners...

Now,come on all I said was that if you read it on the internet then it must be true  :2vrolijk_21: :)

I called Him "Loonburg" - He has more money than God , but slightly less than George sorros - He would only being buying a footnote in history and that can cost a lot of devalued Dollars.

if McCain picks a woman as Veep, it'll sure take the wind out of Obamasama's sails in a big way.

How about a black women, Condalisa is on his short list (rumor) and respected by the world community.  OWG+BF  :2vrolijk_21:  Doc
