Somewhere, someone mentioned that side cover were hard to find.
Here's a set.

If you ever see good red ones fairly prices ring me; loudly. Please.  The stock seat had enough flex to it that it rubbed the top of the side covers.  The shine is gone. 

While the stock seat was on it didn't matter and I really hadn't noticed.  The Corbin saddle has no give to it though.  So the dull spot is viewable.  At least if you squat down.  I'm getting tired of not being able to keep myself from squatting down to look every time I walk through the garage.

Well since you offered, how bout you help me find a set of 01 Orange/Black/White SERG "tins" one piece at a time and as cheap as possible. I feel the need to build a bike coming on and I'm thinking a RestoRod 00 SERG would be a fine project. TP 124 motor,Baker DD6, TD front forks, Bitubos, True-Track, some trick one off wheels, Alligator Bob seat/seatback(s) No sense in buying the stock original bike just to chuck 1/2 of it so we'll go with the paint set as a starting point. I'm thinking as good as you were at hunting up the extra tins for your 01 - - - - -  I think you get my drift

One of of my new Shark Fin end caps just showed up UPS. I'd forgotten what big sons of bitches these end caps are. Sucker is huge. Brandy new though, not a scratch on it. The box is old and dusty but the cap is as new as the day it left Taiwan

Just got these from e-bay recently and will store them here till needed. They were listed as "Harley fins" and were found by trying every word combination I could think of.  Good luck with your project. Doc

Nope but as it turns out they weren't a popular afterbuy so most dealers have a couple gathering dust. I was amazed at how many turned up in the dealer part search software

Guess what ?  The don't fit the Screamin Eagle mufflers I've got (65115-98B) So now I've got one set brand new untouched and one with the lip that slides into the muffler with no chrome on it from trying to get it to work . So now we go in search of a good performing muffler that the tips fit. Anyone got any suggestions ?
