Put a small drop of Green Loktite on one side using a toothpick, it will weep in and lock it in place.

You've tried this and it works -- - - correct  :nixweiss:


Loktite weeps alright so even a drop will find it's way onto the hinge pin
And once it hardens, it hardens believe me.
So you end up with your hinge pin glued solid to the hinge which will then not open if closed or close if open when the loktite sets

No problems with either set of these. When in doubt Loktite.

Of course they may not be rated for 140MPH, that's whey they sell them to Harley pilots and not rice rockets.  :nixweiss:
