Had one touch down about a mile north of my house.  Got real funky around...so the wife and I rounded up the cats and went down into the basement with a weather radio and rode the storm out.

Well it look like a bomb went off up on the Mountain. No electric and no cable or internet. Man life sucks. Oh and not to mention all of the branches and a couple of trees down. The good news is I am fine the dogs are fine and the house is fine. The rest can be cleaned up.

Be Safe

There was a formal ceremony in the center courtyard of the Pentagon yesterday that started at 3pm.  Someone obviously failed to make reservations in an alternate location in case of weather.  I left around 3:10 and at 3:12, all hell let loose and there were a lot of very senior people running for cover.  Somewhere there is an action officer with a little less responsibility today than they had yesterday.  No one hurt except for their pride.
