At least some good news is coming from Michigan!  It's starting to feel like we're the armpit of the nation (or worse) when it comes to bad news these days.  Congrats to the Wings!

They deserved it this year.....looked like a well oiled machine. Even on the chitty ice last night, their passes were crisp and right on target.

It seemed that every time that Detroit dumped the puck into the zone, that all the Penguins players collapsed on the puck leaving the defense men open on the blue line. Pittsburgh never caught on

That winning goal was like Fleury was squeezing a bar of soap.  I really thought the Pens would be a better opponent for the Wings.  They only lost two playoff games in the three series leading to the cup.  The Eastern Conference dominance has ended.  Congratulations to the Red Wings, the best team this year!

Great series, I also thought the Pens would be tougher but they are sooo young.  This is a great experience for them and they will be a stronger team in the future with the experience.  Sid's gonna be quite a player when he's in his late 20s.

I'm a Devils fan but I love good hockey.  It will be cool to see that banner go up next season alongside all those other ones.  Gotta love the original 6.

The wings had Crosby's number and knew exactly how to blanket him. He's very talented and still broke free a few times. But for the most part, The Wing's D made him a non-factor.

And I agree about the original 6. How can you not root for tradition! Never liiked the Pens as I grew up an Islander fan (yeah, I know! ). The Isles sure gave em some good spankings in the early 80's. But they spanked everyone good back then.

But ya gotta love the Wings Logo! I root for them just for their Logo! Winged Wheel signifies my drag racing days. Got one tattoo'd on my back. Always loved the Red Wing's Logo!
