You fuss at me all the time for not listening to you and when I do I see things I missed!
Thanks dOOd.
Now who's wrong, you for fussing at me or me for not paying better attention?

Calm down, guys!!  It's water under the bridge.  Let's not ruin a perfect trip by pointing fingers.  I was the one riding slow...no one else to blame!  'Nuf Said!!!

NOW ON ANOTHER NOTE...

Where do I start a thread to see who is interested in an Experienced Ride Skills Course just like the ones needed on the Dragon!  Talked the coordinator at Earl Small and Cartersville, all we need is 6 folks at $75 a pop for a 6-hour course.  They'll schedule it for a time that fits our needs - a Sunday that they are not teaching the Basic Riding Course or early one weekday for 6 hours or two weekday evenings for 3 hours each to make 6 hours.  The class will be held at Cartersville Harley-Davidson.  That is 30 minutes from my house.  If we have 6 people interested, anyone is welcome to stay here.  I have a fairly big house with 6 bedrooms with 3 single beds and 2 double/queen beds plus a queen size sleeper sofa in the downstairs family room and an inflatable bed in the playroom.  There are guest baths plus a kitchen and family room upstairs and downstairs.  It's not the Ritz but comfortable and free if anyone wants to join in on the class.  PM me and I'll send you the flyer until I hear back from fired00d as to where to post it.

Oh yea, the instructor is a former MMA racer and been teaching for 30 years just in case you're wondering.

Sounds like a great time.....I cannot wait to get down there, trying to get a group together......
That is the hardest thing keeping the group together and not infringe on anyone driving style.....
I like it fast and twisty (not sport bike style) Ultra style, Lazy lay overs swinging in a rhythmic pattern left to right.
I arranged a group ride up in the Poconos couple of weeks ago and because I do not want anyone to ride past their capability I was riding 30 - 50 through the twisties.......and I thought I was doing great (mild ride) till I stopped to let the rest catch up.
To my surprise I found out that my easy/lazy ride was angering a few in the back.
I went directly to the back and stayed there to keep the troupes happy.
I never would have thought my lead was aggressive at all.....to my dismay. Well I will stay in the back for a couple weeks.

Vgirl to bad not in PA all of the courses MSF are free and the experienced rider course is not bad, but not challenging enough, so a private instructor would be appropriate......Good luck

The one rule we do have is no one gets left behind.......just plain rude!

The above in red might not been totally your fault. :nixweiss: What usually happens in group rides is the "accordion" effect. As riders slow down/speed up the ones at the back of the pack have to compensate more. The larger the group the worse the effect.

Chip and Chief

There's a story here, and one that needs telling. In my hand are two cast indian heads that are for the license plate bracket. Mark, MJZ, was very generous in giving me these as a gift. Here's a picture.

The Kuryakyn plate mount I have won't work with them so I'm going to have to find another place for them.

Thanks Mark.
