LED turn signals & running lights on front of bike. Yeah, I know the bike is dirty.

That is sweeet Muffman. Sorry to have missed you at Whiteface. You were just taking off to go up as I hit the bottom! Maybe next time.

yeah, I'm not good at figuring things like this out myself.  I need to know where you got the LED's, how they are secured, where they are wired to, etc....

Hiding the wiring is always the bug-a-boo (especially on a 'moving' shift linkage).  Please show us some more.  8) har!  spyder

Here's a 9 3/4" waterproof 12v DC light strip with 24 lights for only $6.95.  I don't have the SE cut linkage but my guess is that this is the approximate span of the lettering.

My other thought, since I have red LED engine lights that I may want to go with Amber to set the linkage apart.  Any thoughts from anyone else on that?

Man, I think I started a plague. I used individual leds with a transformer for every five so the lights don't blow when the engine is revving. I hardwired them back to the fuse block with an in line fuse. The backer used was a black lexan material glued on with clear high temp adhesive. I'm going to try a mockup to see how the leds shine through silicone to prevent dirt getting in the exposed lettering of the shift linkage. I'm also going to put led's in the screamin eagle horn eyes that you see in the first picture. THE MUFFMAN

Amber lights will look good. My friend used amber on is linkage that he got from Kuryakyn.

I just put the leds in last week. A pretty easy install, just a little time consuming. I see you are from upstate New York. Have to catch up on the next run.
