my 21 yr old daughter is spending the weekenk with me and it sure makes me feel special. :2vrolijk_21:

Wife is making me my "special breakfast" as I type this. daughter gave me a really great card she made me...any my newly minted six year old informed me he didn't want it to be fathers days since he doesn't get anything.

Happy Father's Day shout out to all my fellow CVOHarley brothers and their families and friends! My older daughter's taking me out to brunch before she goes to work at 2. My younger one is taking me out for dinner and a movie tonight! I value the quality time with them so much now that they're all grown up and everyone's out running around doing their own thing these days! I hope you get some quality time with your children or Father today too! Enjoy your day everyone! :2vrolijk_21:

My dad has been gone since '92. I took him for granted and just didn't appreciate him. As soon as he closed his eyes for the last time, it was too late to tell him how much I loved him. Father's Day (and Mother's Day) is 365 days long, it just doesn't show it on the calendar.

I wish all the Chitheads and future Chithead a HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!! My Daughter, my oldest is supporting her Husband in the Marine Corp in Kazakhstan. Along with 3 of my Grandchildren. It is hard having them so far away and so out of touch. I lost my father less than month after I was married to Rhoda-King in 1979. Before I was able to share as much with him as I could have. Again Happy Fathers Day to all. :2vrolijk_21:
