Just got back from vacation and stopped by a couple of relatively small HD dealers in North Carolina.Both had '08 Springers in two colors and other CVO's as well.From what I've read here I thought these bikes are rare and you have to order them.When I bought mine,in November,it was like pulling teeth to get your hands on one

I was shocked to see one on the floor same color as mine at the other dealership within 15 miles of my home.

nothing really "rare" about them....

When I got mine there was another dealer in the area that had one on the floor, unfortunetly they wanted more than MSRP for it.
my dealer got mine from another dealer in Virgina...
I paid MSRP and they had it for me in 2 days!

I felt kinda lucky to have found mine sitting on the floor of the local dealership.  Of course, they only rolled it out the morning before I bought it.

Rare was not the word I was thinking of . But with over 1500 dealers world wide and only 1050 (in my color) built, like i said to see one within 20 miles dealer to dealer I was surprised, not stunned.

there are 3 canyon copper '07 SE Springers in my area!
I see at least one of them everytime I go to a bike event around here...LOL

I have also seen 1 Abyss blue SE Springer, it belongs to a friend of a friend.


from what I heard, there were supposed to be somewhere around 800 or so '07 SE Springers built in each color. I don't know how accurate that number is though...

I hear yea! When I bought mine I picked it up @ 5:30pm and rode too a friends and then to dinner. Before I left that night , an 07 blue SE Springer parked next to mine. Again not shocked (with my luck) but surprised when the bike was only 3 hr old and another cvo springer parks next to it! Anyway, I just picked it up tonight form it's first service and added some rush slip-on's and that big bore sounds great! sound almost as good as it looks.
