AUDIO MODE SWITH BITES THE DUST
« on: June 19, 2008, 05:05:35 PM »

The audio mode switch in the right handlebar switch housing seems to have bit the dust.  The switch that I'm referring to changes audio modes if you push it it and changes channels/tracks if you push it up or down.

It works fine changing modes or pushing it to the down position to change channels.  But when it's pushed up to change channels/tracks it changes the mode instead.
 :(

Do you think cleaning it would contact cleaner would help, or do I need to have it replaced?

Those lower switches getting a little gunky isn't unheard of.  Contact cleaner and a little compressed air gently applied certainly won't hurt anything.  And you certainly lose nothing by trying.

Tommy did you get it fixed? I had to have mine changed when they replaced the heated grips.
