check out Website July 24th
« on: June 20, 2008, 09:00:32 AM »

The dealer meeting this year is July 24th ? that is when Harley Officially unveils the 2009 lineup.

I was told the Harley Website will be updated exactly at that time so everyone can see what is happening for 2009

only 4 weeks away

h-d.com is typically updated the morning the dealer meetings start. followed closely by a frenzy of posting here

OK, I'll get it started.

"What were they thinking?!?!?!?! That has got to be the stupidest idea I've seen yet."

-or-

"Holy crap?!?!?! Wow. It's about time they got off their a$$es and did it right like this. Way to go MoCo."

Any other predictions?

Of course, ymmv. ;)

I also like Groucho for this: I would never join a club that would allow me as a member...

How about:  "Why can't Harley take a decent picture?  The pictures on the web site just don't do the paint justice."

or

"Nothing there trips my trigger, guess I'll just keep the old bike another year."

and especially for Big B

"No way in hell I'm buying any bike with that POS 110 engine in it.  :soapbox:"

Generally the responses run from:

" I like my  <insert year/model here of older CVO>  since it has more soul, the MoCo cared so much more when they built it, with better paint, neater doo dads, or less doo dads, & it smells better."

to:

"Wow, these new bikes are cool, I can't wait until mine comes in, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!!!!!!".

Persoanlly I like the latter responses, since "Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... now you tell me what you know." ~ Groucho Marx
