  Sounds like it is coming from the front of the motor at oil cooler area.  Anybody have a clue what it might be...I have checked everything..I have a lift and I even put it on there so I could look underneath.

Nobody has heard a vibrating noise from there 08 CVO Ultra around 2500 to 3000 rpm???

Did you check the bottom of the motor mount?

Pull the oil cooler off and see if somthing fell under it durring your last service.

Maybe heat shields or hairline crack in your exhaust.

If it's just ticking higher up it will be the valves, lifters and rockers thats normal... but you sure its from down below?

Must be bad to be able to hear it at 3 grand!

It only has 700 miles on it...My buddy bought a canyon copper cvo at same time and his does not do it. It is a very aggravating sound. It is not real loud but you can hear it the hole time.

put a long screwdiver to you ear and try to locate the area. could be the rockers hitting the cover-shieids or floorboards touching pipes?

My 08 makes all sorts of noise and drives me crazy but the shop keeps telling that it normal for the 110 motor.

Yeah, I believe it sounds like your riding mine.

At 19K mikes, my '07 has always sounded like crap between 2800 and 3100 rpm . Under load(steep hill, etc) it's even louder. Everyone, including Jim says it's normal, although no one has riden it under load. Always sounded like someone droped some nuts  in the cases. Goes away after 3100 on up though.

Yep, my 08 SEUC makes the same noise.  Mine is in the top - lifters probably hitting the rocker boxes.  I've had it to two dealers.....It's gotta be normal, cuz both dealers told me that it is normal for 110's

Need to take it in again for a problem with the radio.  I am taking it to yet another dealer and will ask them to check out the top end noise again.  Whether or not they tell me "it's normal" will determine if I do business with them again.  I just keep checking HD service departments off my list

My bike makes the ticking noise and has since new , sounds like a lifter tick. has been to shop and ridden by Tech.. all OK. Not sure about the vibrating noise might explain more about how it sounds.

Well I found out what it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Front 02 sensor was very loose and rattling around. I found it today by accident while cleaning the
bike my hand hit it and I heard the noise.....I guess something happen good after being caught in the rain today....
