Just got off the phone with dealer, Says no up date when they will ship bike, Bike was dated
to be shipped 6/20/08. I know it is only 6/21/08, But I ordered in Jan. I would have thought
they would updated ship date at least. I thought i saw a posting here before where someone
stated their bike was delayed, And they got a new date from dealer.

Where do you live ? If you wanted one in January why haven't you looked elsewhere ?

Got my Duracell in May - got tired of waiting - went looking and found a couple - told my dealer to make it happen or else - had mine the next week.

Just about every dealer out here has at least one sitting on their floor and most of them are duracells...

You're right, I hadn't thought of it, but all of the one's I've seen have been 105th edition models.

So what color does our beleagured friend who's been getting the shaft from his local stealer want ?

Maybe that's the issue.

Could be... ...I've seen all of the 08 SERK colors and I have to admit, I like the Blue the best.

I ordered a Black and Silver '08 SERK in April.  Original ship date was May, then it got pushed back to June, now it is supposed to ship 7/7/08.

They called me two weeks ago and offered to let me have an '08 SERK "Anny", due to a customer backing out, but I want the Black and Silver so I declined.

the Yankee dealer in Bristol CT. With my schedule, June was a good time. Dealer told me June when I
bought the bike. I was hoping for early June. Bike is Black Diamond and Silver dust.

For what its worth . . . my dealer told me that on this last run of 08 SERK's, Black Diamond and Silver Dust were being painted last.  He claims that is what pushed back my ship date . . . . .  I'm still waiting . . . . .

It just does not make any sense that they would not put out a new date. I am really not

Just me, but if you're bike doesn't show up till July, you could behind the 8 ball if there are any new breathtaking developments from the MC at the dealer meetings in early July. On paper, the bike will be one year old and could suffer depreciation, more than normal,  before it leaves the showroom floor.
Maybe you could just wait for the news and order an 09.  Just thinking out loud after a 9 day trip that was 2100 miles on the bike in five days and 1500 miles on the truck /trailer  in two days with two days rest in between.
 I didn't recieve my 06 till late Feb of 06 and in July 06, they ( MC ) announced all the changes for 07. Looking back, I souldn't change anything due to the problems with the 110, but you never know if the MC might hit a home run.

well I'd say waiting from January to June is waaay more patient than I could be.  When I bought my SERK last year about this time, I couldn't stand waiting just a few days for delivery.  When I bought the V-rod, they wanted to deliver it a couple days after the sale - no f'n way prep it today (it was March, they weren't busy) - OK no problem, here ya go.

Anyway I do totally understand not wanting to wait for the 09s .... but with the 110 still kind of in limbo & with an extra model year of paper depreciation there is an argument to be made for waiting.  But there might not be a SERK in 09 also so there's that risk.

So if you are set on a silver / black 08 SERK I'm sure this forum can help you locate one in no time.  With the economy as it is, these bikes aren't exactly flying out of the showrooms.  I'll bet there's one not far from CT as well....

I put money down on my springer in Feb, they told me it would me it would be in by the end of April.  I picked it up two days ago.  I'd say it was worth the wait.
