CVO Cover Supplied with 08 SEUC(Silly Question)

Can anyone tell me the proper way to install cover on the 08 SEUC. What is the Velcro Slit meant for? Antenna's don't fit through there properly and it want's to break them off. Does the thin membrane material go on the windshield with slit and so what purpose is the velcro'd slit for? Where ultimately does the CVO Logo end up????? Also is this cover rain proof?? I need a CVO Cover 101 Class!!!!!!!!!! :confused5: :confused5: :confused5: :confused5:

The early ones didn't fit but they did change early 2008, mine came with the "A" version, it fits fine, but I also got the leak, so not a fair trade...

Mine was #523, and I needed to ask for the correct cover.  The one shipped with the bike was too small.

Well I realize now that it will never work on my 08 SEUC so it will never come out of the bag again!!!!!!! A good old 20x20 tarp will keep her det up in the mountains!! 8) 8)

The thin black spandex material stretches over the top of your tour pak.  The velcro slit is for your antennas.  The CVO logo should end up about mid-way down the front of your motorcycle when installed.  The cover is NOT water-proof.  It's only a dust cover.  See the posts above, but you probably got the older (for the 06-07 SEUCs) cover.  Take it to your dealer and they should order you the new larger one for your bike.

The cover I Got with the bike was Part # 91630-04, Read the post here and insisted the dealer get me the 91630-04A  which he did without question. Got the new cover home and the D_ _ _ thing still don't fit. The plastic bag had the correct part# but it was opened. ( could they have pulled a quick one on me? ?) ??? Would like to see pictures of one on the bike if any body has

I have an 07 CVO c/w cover & don't use it. Its still iin the bag & have a proper sized Dowco "Elite" series on mine with the rear zipper to access the tour pack. THE MUFFMAN

Does that one accommodate the antennas, or do you have to bend them over to put the cover on.  With the J&M shorties, I can't see that that would work very well, if that's the case.   :nixweiss:

This cover works perfect with the shorties. I don't have to move a thing, plus with the zipper at the back its great for access to the tour pack. Also, my zipper crapped out after 4 years. I notified Dowco. They told me to ship it back & they would replace or repair. 2 weeks to the day a new one arrived at my house, free of charge. The Dowco Elite's have a lifetime warranty.
