Does anyone know if I can disable the running light feature on my tailight conversion kit so my turn signals will ONLY be on with the brake and when the turn signals are activated ?? I was hoping this could be easily done by cutting a wire on the kit to disable the running light feature. Otherwise, I may have to look around for an older HD coversion kit that did NOT convert the turn signals into running lamps.

I've had both modules and I don't see how you can disable the running light function without opening the control box which is where the circuit switching takes place.  Neither module adds any wires downstream of the module.

And if you do happen to open the module of the current version, you are likely to find what was inside my older version which is a circuit board that has been thickly coated with a rubber-like insulation material.

Apparently the run light function can be disabled--live and learn.

I followed the instructions here >> http://www.hdforums.com/upfiles/46843/4038846240714F97AB50DA17BEB226C6.jpg and it works great. It took me around 10 minutes to cut and solder. You do NOT need to open the module.  ;D
