HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL? I'M A LEAF FAN!

Last Cup by the Blackhawks: 1960-61 season
Last Cups by the Leafs: 1966-67, 1963-64, 1962-63, 1961-62, 1950-51, 1948-49, 1947-48, 1946-47, 1944-45, 1941-42. Some before then - a total of 13 cups for the franchise and its predecessors.
The Hawks also won it in 1937-38 and 1933-34. That's it. Three.
If it weren't for the horrific Cubs, the Hawks would be Chicago's most embarassing pro franchise. ESPN called the Hawks the worst team in all of sports in 2004, at least at that point in time. I'd have to agree - and they're probably still at or near the bottom of any ranking.
The Leafs, though, were recently valued at over US$400 million - tops in the NHL, despite the Cup drought of more than 40 years.
Actually, the Leafs kind of remind me of the highly-valued Cubs...
If it weren't 100 years this season since the "Lovable Losers" won it all the last time. They haven't even had the opportunity to lose in the World Series since the 40s - Red Sox fans have nothing on this dismal record. (show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser!)
Anyway, it's all good - just having some fun with ya. I got over the Hawks when I moved to Florida & enjoyed seeing the Lightning progress (and finally win one for Tampa!!) Since I've lived in NJ, I've come to love the Devils. Helps that my son's a huuuge Devs fan / hockey player.
