Estimating

Thought I'd share this little tidbit of how dense I can be at times.  Am working on an estimate.  One of the areas includes a "Mass Properties" tab, so the responsible functional lead calls me and asks if I knew of any changes which might alter mass properties when the statement of work appears to be purely a software effort.  I didn't have an answer for him, so I called the customer and asked if there were any requirements to alter mass properties.  The customer tells me "No."  I respond with "Are you sure?"

His response:  "Well Henry, unless the software build is REALLY heavy, or we have too many 1s forward of CG and not enough 0s aft of CG, I can't see a need to estimate mass properties.

I do some really dumb things sometimes.  Scarey ain't it?

It's not always the estimator. I'm working on one right now and I can't figure out what the hell this customer is asking for. This is his second try and he still can't get it spelled out.

JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT! >:(
