If we are in the "gotta tell" mode, let me say this.

I have had a Harley or two since 1977 and will always have one or more.
There are a lot of good looking bikes out there and I have had a bunch of them but my Harley's will always occupy the # 1 spot in my heart and garage!

I agree with you.
I would probably have a "wang" if I could get it cheap enough to make a few buck on it when I got tired of it.
Wouldn't mind a ST1300 either, but it has to be cheap!

We are not going there.
We are just standing on this side of the fence and wondering if those "wangs" on the other side come with a case of Honda polish?
That's all we really want.

If the wang comes with a case of Honda polish we can always sell give away the bike.

I wonder if the Honda dealer's don't know about the 110" problems and would give Bruce Rossmeyer pricing for a trade-in?

Guy I know got tired of waiting on the moco for the 'fix' and just traded his smurf with about 15k on the clock.  One dealer offered him $20k trade-in value for an '08 cuse.  Holy chit.  Then he made an even swap with another dealer for an '06 black/crimson cuse.  They took off all the goodies they could from his smurf and installed them on the '06 - pipes, a/c, bling, etc.  Think he made a much better deal with the swap than giving the smurf away on the trade.

GW (damn, I just realized shorthand for the touring Honda is the same as the initials of my "favorite" politician.  I think Honda needs to consider a name change).

Anyway, I still have to scratch my head when I look at how much value Honda can pack into their package when compared to the offerings from H-D.  And then I look at the difference in performance out of the box, quality of the drivetrain, 3 year warranty versus Harley's 2 year "catch us if you can" non-warranty, etc., and I just shake my head in amazement.  If you run down the specs, you would swear the Wing should sell for $10k more than the Harley.  Consider the drive for instance; Honda gives you a shaft drive, and Harley just gives you the shaft.
