I'm waiting for the infinite ratio CVT.  If I wanted to spend all day shifting I'd drive a big rig through the mountains.

Where will it all end 7 speed tranny's.  No mention of price yet, been looking at an Andrews 30 tooth sprocket because i hate pulling the trailer with that high a first gear.  Might be worth looking at as an option.  The cruise drive tranny doesn't shift that well to me.

Are the top two gears OD?  Or just the top gear?  I they shoehorn six gears between first gear and their comparative equivalent of 1:1 I'm not really sure I want to be shifting that much.

I'm going to hold off until Baker comes out with the DD10...8 forward and 2 reverse...now that's a tranny!

Only problem is they won't give me anything for my '07 as a trade. They told me I'd have to pay them to take it

They shortened up 1-6 and 7th is 1.0.  Just one OD still.   Lots more shifting.

I guess I'm not concerned about "hole-shots", so my first gear works just fine for me.  I don't think it's too tall that I need to shorten the ratios on the first sixth and then add a 7th for overdrive.  Dayum, how many more speeds do we need?

Great news, I will sure have to look at these. I have hated the too tall 1st gear and the fact that I need to be going at least 110 ( that's kilometers    ) to even get it comfortably in 6th gear. A lot of my driving means  using fifth gear at around 3K . This new tranney sounds like it will be perfect.
