Those were another of my all time favorites Doc.  The 95th Anniversary colors were my absolute favorite of all the anniversary packages Harley has done.  And of all of them the Road Glide and Road King were my favorites of the bunch.  Nice bike.

Thanks Twolane, At the time it was best bargain in the line up, but by the time you added a tourpack, new seat, backrest, rear amp, wiring harness it got close to the cost of a Ultra but you could remove all that in a few minutes unlike the Ultra. I think the dealers were a little shy about ordering them because of the previous model not selling well. The dealer offered me more than I paid for my FLTR as another incentive to trip the trigger and it was sold, sold, sold !!!  The previous Harley's I've owned all fetched close to purchase price when sold or traded in. I guess those days are gone forever. The reason I bought the used SERG was because of the beating I was going to have take to get a new one. There is still nothing in the line up I would risk a beating for. It's not just the money, but the way they treat you ...I just can't do it. There are just too many great deals on used low mile bikes to step into the pit again.
We are very happy with the 00 SERG especially with the matching Bushtec. The triple red is my second favorite factory color scheme and it got me into this group so I feel fortunate.  Doc

Does anyone know for sure if the fairing from a 2000 model Road Glide will directly interchange with a current model?

Don,

I got  a new one with my bike, I'll pull the old one off and see what's up...Greg
