Well dogols has joined us this morning and I haven't heard him spew his coffee yet, so I guess we didn't ruin anyone day (yet  ;D).

I'm going to give up and go back to bed soon.  Feel it catching me finally.  Don't be annoying alone.  Save it and do it when a friend is there to help :2vrolijk_21: .

I am not naked.  Feet were cold so grabbed socks.

Man, I gotta say, that I glad that most of us were NOT there...   :zstupid: :puke:

Hey folks, I have the 05 SEEG, but when I ride behind my husband on his 04 SEEG I completely blind him.  If I turn my spots off, better for him, but then I have almost nothing from the single bulb to see the hi way very good.  If I ride with the single bulb, because my visitability is lessened, I slow down and then I am further behind him than normal and he says that single bulb is blinding. I can't turn the lights off, obviously even if I could I wouldn't want to. Is there something I can buy to make my lights good enough for me to see, but not blinding when following someone?

Candy, can't say for sure of course.  But what you're describing might just be your headlight beind adjusted a bit too high.

Your bike would have had a single bulb headlight in it from the factory.  That one bulb has both high and low beam functions.  So unless you'e changed the headlight housing at some time it is just one bulb you are blinding your husband with.  Adjusted a bit too high and they can be hell on cars in front of us or oncoming traffic though.

Not to get 2ln going again tonight but I have a question:
where do I put all the items that come in this kit? Is there enough room inside the light housing for those two big boxes?

Up yo.... ummmm, never mind.

There's not much there really.  The bulbs (#1) go in place of the old ones.

The combination ballast/ignitor #2 goes in any convenient place you can put it.  Double sided taped somewhere against the inner fairing, tie wrapped to a bracket, just wherever it's happy and safe.

The harnesses to each (#3) will pick up power and ground.  Will fire one each from the high and low beam headlight wires.  But it's just wire.  You're not really taking up any consequential amount of space here.

The rest of the stuff shown is just the mounting, tieing or hold down bits to accomplish all of the above.

There is room in the fairing for them? They look kinda big.

There will be plenty of room.  You'll be hurting more than others with the bluetooth harness tucked up inside your fairing as you've got it.  But there will still be plenty of room.

Think about all the crap stuck in mine.  If all that fits you're golden.
