Well, my friend Rob crashed on the brakes coming into T1 at VIR North yesterday. He dislocated his shoulder, but they popped it back in and he's just fine. Even drove himself home.

My cameras were on his bike! D'oh.

... and they all survived. 

The video plays through once at normal speed, then in slow-motion. In the slow-mo, you can see Rob's body fly past.

I'm glad everyone is OK. The tumbling looked pretty bad.

Yup.  The bike took a serious beating.  That was about 80 mph.

nice video. looks like he washed the front to me. He was on the brake markers early so thats odd that he would loose the front like that but it is racing and physics go right out the door the moment you pull the bike off the trailer. Glad he's ok though.

Yup.  Too much front brake.

He's faster than me, tho ... so I be quiet now.  LOL.

well it's been 10 years since I last raced and 2 years since I last threw a leg over a sportbike so dont feel bad.  AT least your still out there. You know the old saying.....the older I get, the faster I was.
