Yes the tour pak is detachable and slips on to the docking hardware and snaps into place. Just need to purchase the docking hardware kit and the detachable tour pack rack. I also went with Harley's Layback License Plate hardware and a Dakota Digital in fairing antennae.

Good job! I too did mine about 6 months ago, don't know why I waited so long, other than forking out the big bucks for the 4x Hawg wired. Course while I had her apart, I added lid light spoilers, bag guards, chrome fillers....Hard to stop once you get started. Definitely get a new seat! I love my Corbin solo but rmarion has the sweetest looking seat. Danny Grey I think?

Cool! That should give you the look and comfort with a little back support. Did you order from the Ca or Fl. Corbin? Alot of people have had problems when ordering. If you get it from CA. and have problems, let me know, we are only an hour away. I went a different route with my seat choice, not for everybody, but it works for me

Looks great, I just did mine last weekend myself.  Not too difficult at all.
I am looking at getting the HW system you have.
How was that install for you?

The install is not too difficult, although its a tight fit to get everything inside the front fairing. Also if you call Hawg Wired tech support they have an updated wiring diagram for the "Four in the Face" PSC CX/CX/(V) system that is not included in the supplied installation/operation booklet that is packed with the unit. It clarifies things a bit. One thing to remember is to mount the main amplifier as far back on the HK radio as possible. If you have any other questions/concerns feel free to pm me. Also if you purchase the unit through h-d dude from this forum you will get 10% off and as far as I know lots of help/support with the install.

I've added George Anderson's tour-pak relocation plate and the isolated drive system sprocket in the past month.

I guess now the next step is adding the True-Track stabilizer, Hawg-Wired four in the face setup + 2 TP speakers, adding the PIE UNI-POD, and detachable Tour-Pak.

I just wish I had time to do all this before I hit the road for 16 days in September but I don't have any downtime until late August and that might be cutting it too close if something went awry.  Of course living in Michigan there is always the winter to work on the bike.

Hi guys.....thinking of doing the same to my 08 Duracell.....what part numbers for the rack and the docking kit?...there are a few on the website...I want to make sure I get the right stuff....I have asked at the stealer but the 11 yr old behind the counter isn't really sure.....secondly....anyone with the power locking tour pak tried this?....Is there a wire add on for those?.....thanks guys!!....they look great by the way....like haing 2 bikes in 1.
