Not sure the adjustable one would change much.  ! add 2 inches to my stock one and put 2 45 bends in it to get it to my liking.

Know of those who have ordered a Mustang B/R and changed the mount (ordered from Mustang or J & P. etc.) to the Mustang mount.  Stock B/R still on my bike but agree there is room for improvement on that one.

Is this an HD or what.

I am looking for something that is adjustable on the fly.  With my current one I don't seem to be able to ride more than 600 mi per day before I have to adjust it.  My back gets tired quick.

yes - it comes with a variety of backrest pad styles.  Check the online catalog.  Pillow-Look Style Adjustable Rider Backrest

"These touring rider backrests are the most adjustable on the market. With one quick pull from the integrated gas spring, you can instantly adjust the riding position through a 30-degree range. The backrest removes easily and has a push-button-activated, five position, 1.5" height adjustment. The rider backrest folds down to allow easier passenger mounting.

Be aware that you can't use the Harley mid frame heat shields with any of the hydraulic adjustable Harley backrests.  The left side heat shield mounts to the same hole that adjuster does.  And even with a longer bolt the shield blocks the pull on the lever.

I use the Kuryakyn heat shields.  They fit fine with the adjustable backrest...  :2vrolijk_21:

The Kury heat shields out now are an improvement over the first model.  Easier to install - double stick tape keeps it in place very well - does not utilize the side cover fastener as the old model did.  Looks better than the other shields, too, IMHO.
