started making more scenic stops today this was about 1hr into NB
even with the fog it was a spectacular view

looked like there might have been an old bridge here

fed from a waterfall across the street

day 5 July 8th we met up with the local hog chapter today for a mystery ride, mom and dad did their own thing in the car

we did about 190 miles on the ride going out to west point and back started having major trouble with the radio today so went most of the day without it. started thinking about what my options are for replacing it. also had some front injector trouble i had been having an occasional misfire prior to the trip but it got really bad on this ride and i noticed i had a code in the ECM

ride start point

light house at west point

steve admireing his SEEG

after the ride we met up with our parents and rode up to new glasgow for a lobster dinner

day 6 July 9th not much riding today, the girls wanted a beach day so i went up to the dealer to get the code check in the ECM and see what my options were. it also now no longer an option if i will replace my radio i go out to the SERK and find that the face plate to the radio has been stolen  :soapbox: dealer pulled the code which pointed to the front injector and felt that i may have some water in the gas. they added some isopropyl and perscribed a couple of doses of fuel injector cleaner.

after the girls got back from the beach we had lunch and heaed into the port area of charlottetown. there was a sand sculpture attraction there here are a few of them

time to cool off how about a brewery tour? we walked up to the gahan brewery had a glass of their new IPA and a even got a glass of their red poured right off the side of the aging tank

back down toward the water and listen to the nightly free concert

dad chillin

day 7 July 10th weather didnt look great today but we set off toward east point with no real itinerary

we made a scenic stop at St. Peters Bay ( they farm mussles here )

found info about a national park on the other side of the bay in Greenwich
did a 4.5km ( about 2.5 miles ) scenic walk

there is a fresh water pond very close to the ocean with a floating boardwalk across it

walk over a sand dune and its the ocean

looking back inland

back on the road we get out to east point clouds getting darker but still no rain

at the light house

looking back down

the building below was moved because of erosion you can see the old foundation

danger danger

we start heading back toward the center of the island and stop at singing sands

it starts raining and is getting late in the day so we head back for dinner and begin to get ready for the ride home

Great pics of a good family get-away.  Thanks for posting 'em Naitram.  Where was your scooter when the 'face-plate' was stolen?  :( And did the alcohol take care of the water in gas issue?  :nixweiss: Just wondering.  spyder
