2007 CVO Springer {110"} and had 5000 miles on it. Noticed a 'little' leak on both cyl. at 2000 miles , put the Andrews 32 cams in at 2600 miles and ,leak stopped. Had the dealer pull the heads and I bought a Cometic .030 hg. Mechanics are freinds of mine and gave me the heads. Milled .020 off the heads and used 'perfect fit' pushrods -.030 anyway , in MY opion ,these heads are good. I have ported 2 other sets. The valves are FERREA {nail head} and both int. and ex. are 'backcut' 30 degree's. Thing that bothers me is they use 93 % valve to seat ratio on the intake !!!!!!! WOW , I have been porting H-D heads since 1978 and like to stay small ,like 88 - 90 % depending on the valve. When you go 93% , you have nothing to cut your angles on. Stock had a tiny 45 degree { .040 wide} and had to use a manafying glass to see the 60 degree { .020 wide} so what I did is ,shorten the valve stem by .010 that way you can cut a bigger ,wider 45 degree and get a 'lead in' angle , I like 70 and 60 , end of the story is ,it runs great ,very strong and will be dyno soon. Pulled 100 hp. and 111 tq. before with just the cams. SAE 250 I dyno with winpep 7. 5th gear. Both heads CC'd at 93 to start with. Both intake valve seals were leaking too ! DEWEY ps. Cometic wants to see the old gaskets, say they don't make them !
