Yes, Jim's and HD have a longstanding relationship. As for why can't Harley get it right.....? That's a great question, one that begs to be asked in public.

:indian_chief:

I think it boils down to outsourcing by the MOCO. They probably have China casting the jugs and we all know that everything China builds is junk so why should our parts be any different. Jim's may use someone in another country that pays a little more to build their's. JMO

you could be on to something there, Spike.  I'm wondering how many S&S motors are put into use ea. year?  :-\ And how that would get translated into identified problems noted on forums?  :confused5: Hard to compare apples and oranges.. :-X...but it would be nice.  :)  har!  spyder

Rev techs are built in Korea aren't they? I know they aren't the best motors but how many break down like our 110's? again like you said Spyder it's apples and oranges.

I guess we will have to see how much of the 110 for 2009 has changed vs. the stuff they have been putting out.  Once the specs are out, those more learned than I can disect how much they have changed from the previous models.  Not sure how easy or fast we can do it, but it will all come out soon.

I was at one of my stores today getting my 5K service completed and they had 7 2008 CVO's in stock. 3 ultras, 1 rk, 2 dynas and 1  Springer.    I was tempted to put oil pans underneath all of them ;D

No need for oil pans, the new version of SYN3-A has floor dri addative right in the oil.  :drink: :drink: :drink:

I vote for them to bring Street Glide instead of Road Glide. RG is not even sold in Europe. I think it will not be that popular due to designs. Will be nice to have SE StreetGlide. I think if they do it it will be a hit.

The CVO Road Glide will be available in Europe. And there is a bunch of people waiting for that bike, I am certain.

Would be good. May be its just our market but we never had a RoadGlide. Non-CVO as well. Thats why I assumed it will not be available.
