I'll save you all the trouble of getting rid of the stock 6 speed

Give you $100 for it and will pay shipping :2vrolijk_21:

You will buy the 7 speed.....it WILL break :soapbox:

Baker will not fix it correctly

You will beg me to sell you back the origional 6 speed :coolblue:

$700 + shipping.....another $200

sounds like a great deal for you :2vrolijk_21:

Damn Brian,

Finally sold my boat.

I'm glad I didn't sell it to you, I would have wound up paying you to take it and throwing the SERG in to seal the deal!

Nancy and I rode our 03 Classics around Lowes Motor Speedway at a 100 until they flagged us down.
We think they were going to ask us to leave.
So we slowed down to 40 as we passed them and rode out the exit!
Twas very cool!

Well, as I get more information, I'll pass it along but in a nut shell there's a charity ride at AMS that will allow you to ride around the track for the first few laps at a "normal" speed, then those that want to can get up to "full" speed.

Ours was a more controlled ride.
It was the NC state rally ride to the speedway.
They let 60 bikes at a time out on the track.
You had to follow a van not going over 70.
You got three laps.
We were the second group out and last in line.
We behaved on the first lap, at the end of the second we let it rip and passed the van in turn 4 as we exited the speedway on pit road.

If you can arrange it, get someone to take some pictures as you let it rip on the banks.
Both of our Classics handle well at speed. I attribute that to the Progressives and the Traxxion.
90 to 100 on the banked turns is an experience you will not forget.
Good luck and be safe!
