Yeah that ride is pretty cute! Almost got me ready to trade. I guess I still have a bike if Otis ain't sold it yet. Oh well I'll find out tomorrow when I go to get it I guess.

Long time since we've seen you here. And if you've been fishing more than riding, Otis may in fact have moved that BnB on out of his garage. You need to be out riding more. Just jokin

But we ran out to do a couple of quick errands yesterday and stopped by the very local HD shop that we tend to avoid. They had some kind of open house, wrestlers, a couple of vendors and they had sent an email about the new bikes. Well, none outside, none on the floor. But a salesman recognized Jamey and grabbed him and me and we went into the back behind the service area. There they had at least four of the 2009 bikes in different stages of assembly up on the third rack. Looking to be almost completely assembled was the O/B RG! Talk about excessively sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no interest in changing my SEEG for this bike, and am not sure what Jamey's thoughts are about how to bring this bike home to our garage, but if it is about the looks .......................... It looks fantastic. All the negative things I've heard here are not applicable when you see it in person. This is one fine looking ride.
If I had been asked about the RG for the SE platform, I'd have asked for the TP, the lowers, the upgraded stereo to include XM, GPS, CB etc., the heated grips and seat, the passenger floor boards - kind of ultracizing the RG to make it maximum comfortable for the long roads, but if one wanted a quick little around town sport bagger, this one has hit the mark quite well. And the eagle is not as understated as it appears in the pictures. JMHO of course.
