Screamin' Eagle® Timken Bearing Sleeve

Convert 2003-later Twin Cam models with a factory-installed roller bearing to a Timken tapered bearing. When used with Screamin' Eagle® Timken Bearing Tool P/N 34823-08 (sold separately), the Bearing Sleeve can be installed without precision machining. Sleeve accepts press-in Timken bearing (sold separately).

Fits '03-later Twin Cam equipped models. Installation requires separate purchase of model-specific Sprocket Spacer. '03-'05 Dyna® use PN 24038-99A, '03-'06 Softail® use P/N 24039-01A, '03-'06 Touring use P/N 24008-99 and '06-later Dyna®, '07-later Softail® and '07-later Touring models use P/N 11887. Requires separate purchase of Timken Bearing Kit P/N 9028.

That's the Jim's conversion kit I did my motor with. HD's in bed w/Jim's and now they can sell stuff that should'a been on the bike new, as a performance enhancement! Bastards!!! >:(

That is for the sleeve only, Jim's retail is 137. the tool to do the install is about $900....

Yeap, like Jim said. You also need the Jims tool. The sleeves were slightly over $100 a piece. We used 2 cause we tried it out first on my old cases to see if it was OK. So Vern bought the tool and some sleeves and can do his own Timken conversions now. He paid for the tool. Why would HD introduce this now if it weren't a valid improvement to their current design! FTF!!! ;)
