If the starter begins leaking oil when used for reverse, there are REALLY gonna be issues with this one.....

I think BMW was using similar method for reverse for LT for a number of years. This is one part which never went down to the best of my knowledge. I hope HD will be the same...

Yes on the BMW K1200LT & it works very well from what I have heard also.  With a trike a reverse gear is needed since the bike is VERY heavy.

SEUC will also benefit from it - only if it ever was installed on it. Although only with HD scooters you learn to park so well!!!

If an electric reverse is done through the starter motor the suggested fitment of trike only wouldn't keep others from using it if they wanted to.  There's one older gent here in my neighborhood with a Road King who could benefit from such a device.
