Hey Rob...Dorian at Gainseville has got my deposit on a S/B Ultra..
Ocala would not give me the otd cost, FBastid was 1500+, Naples 2k, Lessburg 1k.
No responses from the shops dowm here.

Lance at Jims in St Pete was msrp.

Good luck.

I have not been able to buy a bike at Ocala for the last two bikes I have owned. My last two came from Brandon/Tampa/New Port Richey Owners. Great folks at all 3 of those locations. Mike Rendine is who i always talk to. He is a straight shooter.

I ordered my new SERG last Saturday, they where not sure when they would get the orange color in but would call me, go figure, I see some dealers have them,  ?  , they're posted on some of the threads, just goes to show you the lack of communication they have within themselves. I will be posting a 03 SERK for sale if anyone is interested? It has, Tour pak (chopped), Dragonfly faring, Progressive shocks, New Vans and Hines ovals pipes, SE race tuner, and custom poured seat, Crocidile, by Alligator Bob, New tires 1000 miles ago, Every square inch of the bike is perfect. Not in a hurry to sell, but if any interested let me know.

Congratulations to all of you getting your new 2009 bikes.  I love this time of year.  Don't forget that when your bike comes in to the dealership (for those that are awaiting delivery) your bike will come on a metal skid, wrapped in soft plastic covers inside of a cardboard box.  The dealership has to cut off the box, take off the covers, remove from skid and do some little assembly of a few parts, fill fluids, check things out etc.  If you have a good relationship with your dealer, sometimes they will allow you to be present to watch, take pictures of the birthing.  It is really special, has been shared here in the past and we who did not get to do that, or just casually sitting watching your buying process, love it when you share.  For you, you get to have a once in a life time capture of the birthing of your new CVO Harley.  Kinda priceless, as if the bike itself is not enough.  Enjoy, and share as you can.

what does this mean? If it means 2k over retail, don't do it. Find a dealer that will sell at MSRP. The three I mentioned earlier sell at MSRP and my 1000 mile service was included in the dealer prep which was lower than most.

If anyone is intersted, PM me for Mike's direct number.

I almost hate to promote a dealership that I don't reccomend the service department of, but for out of towners, who cares about the service department.

In VA - Colonial Harley Davidson is selling their CVO bikes at MSRP.  I know when we bought Jamey's bike --- late 2003, they had a mileage rule, they only sold within a 100 mile radious, but at MSRP.  When I went to buy my Cherry Bomb SEEG late 2004 and they had gotten the greed bug and had added a $2000 premium.  I did not buy there.  We were just there this last weekend and John assured us that they were out of the premium business and all their bikes sell at MSRP.

Also, not up to date, but I did buy my bike from Lynchburg, VA HD shop, and they were very happy to sell for MSRP, everything I bought extra got a 10% discount, the setup, tag, title and stuff was the cheapest we had ever heard of or seen in our many vehicle purchase history.  It amounted to almost $700 savings at the time.

If we can help, let us know.

Gainsville HD was the only one of two dealers to respond to my request.

Are there places for grownups (or coeds) to eat and drink at around there?

I have been to the Deerhaven power plant and have a friend in MIcanopy, but do not know the area well.
